Future's 17-year-old Jakobi Wilburn is facing up to 20 years in prison after he was found in possession of a weapon. And it appear that Furture is not supporting the teen, because online reports say the teen is being represented by a free public defender.

According to online reports, Jacobi was arrested late last month on charges including criminal gang activity, criminal trespass and the altered ID of a firearm.

The publication reports that the "altered ID of a firearm" charge is because Jakobi was allegedly found in possession of a gun with the serial numbers scratched off. Despite being a minor, Georgia's laws dictate that 17-year-olds can be charged as adults.

These are the first-ever charges Jakobi has faced, which should bode well for him when he appears before the judge.

At present, his father Future is being blasted by two of his alleged baby mama's after he refused to take a paternity test to prove that he fathered their children. He is currently suing Eliza Reign, one of the women for defamation of character and emotional distress, after she spoke about his performance in the bedroom with ONSITE.
