MTO News learned that former NBA player Luis Montero has been arrested in Miami for alleged lewd and lascivious battery on a child.
The ex-Miami Heat and Detroit Pistons basketballer, who was most recently drafted to a Polish league for a brief period, was detained on October 25 before bonding out. The 25-year-old from Dominican Republic - full name Luis David Montero-Carrasco - is also charged with interfering with custody.

On August 9, 2018, Montero signed with Anwil Włocławek of the Polish Basketball League. After view days Montero was fired by Anwil because he did not undergo medical tests.
