Moneybagg Yo found himself being roasted by fans online after he posted an ignorant tweet, wishing that the pandemic continues so that he can keep making money.
“Not gone lie I made a couple Ms in da pandemic, ion want it to end,” he tweeted. “I feel like the pandemic help a lot of people.”

It did not take long for Twitter to get him together. The southern rapper hopped back online to apologize for his remarks:
“I apologize to everybody I offended my comment was very insensitive it was not my intent to hurt anyone,” he said.

Moneybagg’s statement definitely missed the mark.
Almost half a million people in the United States have lost their lives to COVID-19, out of a reported 27.7 million cases across the country. President Joe Biden is working hard to roll out vaccines for the virus across the country, but many are worried about potential side effects. There are also two new variants in both the UK and South Africa as the virus continues to mutate.
