Music legend Faith Evans and her reality star husband Stevie J are expecting a baby together. MTO News has learned.

According to a person close to Stevie, he and Faith have decided to become parents again, so they've engaged a surrogate to carry their child.

Faith is 45 years old so she's still physically able to carry a child, but for health reasons, we're told that the couple is deciding on a surrogate.

And if you want to know more about Faith and Stevie's pregnancy journey - you'll have plenty of time to get the details.

That's because, according to our insider, Faith and Stevie plan on filming their pregnancy/parenting journey for their new reality show. The insider explains, "They're already filming their show. That's why Stevie left Love & Hip Hop [Atlanta] early."

Pregnancy via surrogacy is quickly becoming the preferred method of pregnancy among celebrities. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are currently expecting their second child via surrogacy.

Kandi Burress from the Atlanta Housewives is expecting surrogate twins. And K Michelle is also expecting a baby via surrogate.

Speaking to PEOPLE at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala red carpet in February, Faith Evans and husband Stevie J opened up about how married life had changed their relationship.

“I got to put in more work, know what I’m saying? I upped it from three to five times a day,” Stevie, a famed producer and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star, tells PEOPLE, making a suggestive comment about their sex life.

“I knew he was going to go there with it,” adds Evans. “I already knew.”

The couple — who each have a Grammy Award under their belts — tied the knot over the summer.
