Rapper Fabolous was arrested and charged with domestic battery - in connection with an alleged assault of his baby's mother Emily B.
According to local reports, Fab and Emily were fighting over his cell phone - and whether Emily could see messages Fab was receiving. According to Emily, Fab turned violent, and she called the police.
TMZ is reporting that Fabolous turned himself into cops in Englewood, NJ -- where he and Emily live. He was later assigned a ticket for an upcoming court appearance.
Fabolous - whose real name is John Jackson - shares two children with Emily. Two-year-old Jonas Jackson and 10-year-old Johan Jackson. The couple starred in an early season of Love & Hip Hop New York, where his cheating ways were put in the spotlight, and he was criticized for his reluctance to commit to Emily B.
"My mother always told me that to get something you never had, you have to do something you never did… and what I didn’t do in the eight years was I never left. I was always there; I always wanted to be his down chick, ride or die. I had to take a stand and say ‘You know what? I don’t like my situation and I want more. I want a commitment. I’m getting older, I have two children. What are we doing here?’ And that’s when I decided, you know what? Maybe it’s time for me to go out on my own. I’m not going to lie; I did it because I wanted it to work. I wanted him to change so it was definitely the best decision for me and he’s grown from it and he’s changed from it and it all worked out," she said at the time.
The couple has had an on again off again relationship for years. It could be time to call it quits.
