Eminem surprised fans by dropping a surprise album titled Music To Be Murdered By, where he directly addresses his beef with Bad Boy rapper, Machine Gun Kelly.

On the album track "Unaccommodating" which features Young M.A, Em raps:

"But when they ask me is the war finished with MGK? Of course it is/ I cleansed him of his mortal sins, I'm God, I'm the Lord, forgives even the devil worshippers!" he says, obviously referencing MGK's "Rap Devil" diss track.

Em also released a brand new visual for track, "Darkness."

Unlike Em's previous battle raps, there were many who felt that MGK help his own, and the victor of the feud was not quite as clear cut as it has been in the past.

During his 2018 Kamikaze interview with Sway, Em spoke about the beef:

"You know you go down a f*cking wormhole of YouTube? So I see, 'Machine Gun Kelly talks about Eminem's daughter.' So I'm like, 'What the f*ck?' Then he starts doing a press run about Hailie. I'm like, 'What the f*ck?' Yo, my man better chill. So, that's not why I dissed him. The reason I dissed him is actually a lot more petty than that."

"Now I'm in this f*ckin' weird thing, because I'm like, 'I gotta answer this motherf*cker.' And every time I do that, it makes that person -- as irrelevant as people say I am in hip-hop -- I make them bigger by getting into this thing, where I'm like, 'I want to destroy him.' But I also don't want to make him bigger. Because now you're a f*cking enemy. I'll leave it at that. I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do at this point right now."
