Ebro Darden has responded to reports that Hot97 has banned playing any music from incarcerated rapper, Tekashi 6ix9ine.
"All execs @HOT97 deny speaking to anyone @TMZ..... so this means that Tekashi marketing machine is revving up to rally his on-line #Bots and drive stories," he tweeted.
Ebro continued, "If the label is not careful [we're] gonna have to revisit covering how his on-line shenanigans was fabricated from the beginning and who financed them.. 🤔."
His words come as TMZ broke the news that an executive from Hot 97 said that when 6ix9ine does release new music - they will not be supporting it.
Tekashi reportedly inked a deal with his former label, 10K Projects - the same label as his arch-nemesis, Trippie Redd. Details of the agreement that have leaked claim that the deal is only for two albums - one in English and one in Spanish and that the rapper is working on them from jail.
