Drake's son Adonis no longer lives in France - he lives in Toronto just minutes away from his father, MTO News has learned.
But Drake had to pull a bunch of strings to make that happen.
Drake's baby's mother Sophie Brusseaux is a French resident, who was recently deported from the United States after overstaying her visa.
But Drake used his influence to get his son's mother legal immigrant status in Canada.
According to multiple sources close to the Canadian superstar, Drakes baby mom has been granted a long-term work visa from Canada. And now she's moved to Toronto, Canada with their son Adonis
Drake asked a non-profit that he's affiliated with to hire Sophie, and go through the legal steps to get her a work visa. And they did it.
Sophie is now working in Toronto, for a Canadian non-profit museum Arts Help, she's the company's artistic director.
Drake and his team are big supporters of Arts Help, and they pulled a few strings to get Sophie the job. In fact, Arts Help is the museum that hosted a release party a few months w. Drakes creative directors Oliver
Brussaux was first linked with the OVO hitmaker in January 2017 after the couple were photographed on a dinner date in Amsterdam while Drake was stopping over on his Boy Meets World Tour.
Months later, she claimed to have received texts from Drake asking her to get an abortion. At the time, a rep for Drake told TMZ, “”If it is in fact Drake’s child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child.”
At the end of 2017, Brussaux allegedly gave birth to a son after posting images of her pregnant belly and apparent baby shower on her Instagram account @sophieknowsbetter. The account has since been made private.
