DJ Khaled is working with Weight Watchers to get his weight under control. And for a minute, it looked like it might actually be working.
Khaled, who is a paid sponsor for Weight Watchers announced in February that he's lost nearly 50 pounds using their program. At the time, he announced that after a year on the program - he lost 1/6th of his body mass.
Here's what he said:
"A year ago I told y'all it's coming OFF! I started at 293 lbs and now I'm OFFICIALLY 250 lbs!! They CALL ME SLIM JIM!!" he wrote in an ad posted on his account. "Thank you @ww for changing my life!! And i ain't stopping! We gon keep winning with the Freestyle Program!! I promise you!! It's coming OFF! Join me and win with me on @WW. The new Weight Watchers. I'm not racing! I'm not speeding! And here he was over the weekend, looking like he put all that weight right back on . . .
Over the past week, DJ Khaled was the host of this year's 2019 Kid Choice Awards, and it was a family affair for the songwriter/record producer, as he arrived on the orange carpet with his wife and son wearing matching vibrant outfits on Saturday night (March 23).
Before the show, DJ Khaled revealed to Billboard that his highly anticipated project, Father of Asahd, is being executive-produced by his 2-year-old son, Asahd Khaled.
"Father of Asahd is my best work up to date. My son is executive-producing it," Khaled told Billboard on the carpet. "Expect a lot of surprises. It’s coming, it’s close, it’s near."
