Disney star Cameron Boyce passed away on Sunday at the tender age of 20 years old.

Boyce was mostly known for his roles in the Disney Channel show 'Descendants' and the TV show 'Jessie.'

According to reports, "an ongoing medical condition" was the cause of the young star's death.

"It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron," a spokesperson said on behalf of the Boyce family. "He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him.

"We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother."

Dinsey actress Skai Jackson, who played alongside Jackson in the show 'Jessie' as his younger sister, posted a touching tribute to the late star, writing that her "timeline will be flooded with pics and videos of this amazing human."

"Just be thankful for everything that you have," said via her Instagram live. "Just always tell people that you appreciate them. Always be nice to people, because it doesn't mean they'll always be here... Tomorrow isn't promised."
