Chloe x Halle member Halle Bailey has been tapped to play Ariel in Disney’s next live-action adaptation of “The Little Mermaid.”

According to 'The Little Mermaid' the movie will incorporate original songs from the 1989 animated hit as well as some brand new hits.

Jacob Tremblay and Awkwafina have already joined the cast, and Melissa McCarthy is in talks to play Ursula.

David Magee wrote the script with Jane Goldman writing a previous draft. Jessica Virtue and Allison Erlikhman are overseeing for the studio.

Another wrote, "Its great,so now I waiting for “Snow black” black Mulan and white Tiana. Nightmare !!!"
