It’s been 14 years since MTV gave the world a peek into the luxury life of legendary hip-hop star Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons and his family. From words of wisdom to typical parent-teenage drama, Run’s House definitely set the bar for Black family love and growth for many years to come.

While it could be skin bleach that changed Russy's skin - it could also be Russy's eczema flaring up.

Russy suffered from eczema his whole life, and has been working hard to get it under control - according to his social media page.

Eczema is the name for a group of conditions that cause the skin to become red, itchy and inflamed. There are several types of eczema: atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, dyshidrotic eczema, nummular eczema, seborrheic dermatitis and stasis dermatitis.

Eczema is very common. And in many cases, it’s also manageable. In fact, over 30 million Americans have some form of eczema.

Typical treatment for eczema includes over-the-counter (OTC) remedies, prescription topical medications, phototherapy, immunosuppressants, and biologic drugs. Many people with eczema also find success with specific natural and alternative treatments.
