Dave Chappelle found himself in an awkward situation when he called singer, Daniel Caeser "very gay" during an episode of John Mayer's 'Current Mood' - an Instagram Live show.

After referring to Caeser as "very gay" he then said - "Huh? Oh, I’m sorry, did I say that out loud? I’m just kidding." They were all drunk except for Mayer.

He then called Caeser "amazing" and began to gush over his talents, but it was too little too late.

Chappelle rebuffed Mayer's attempst to clean it up - and denied that he used the words accidentally. He was then confronted by Caeser, who was off camera. Dave repeatedly praised Caesar's talents but doubled down on his right to make a joke.

Caeser then claimed that he was being too sensitive - and they appeared to put it all behind them.
