Dame Dash is shooting down reports that he and Jay-Z had reached a settlement over a Reasonable Doubt NFT.
“Please don’t believe this hype we are no where near a settlement,” Dame wrote. “They accused me of doing something i did not do and now they have to prove it…and i can sell my share anytime I want #askthejudge.”
Jay-Z sued him over an alleged NFT auction of the 1996 debut album. Jay says Dame has no right to sell it. Dame then sued Jay, alledging that JAY-Z transferred streaming rights to Reasonable Doubt (without authorization from Roc-A-Fella) to S. Carter Enterprises LLC.
He is suing for unjust enrichment, breach of fiduciary duty, replevin, and conversion, and seeking a minimum of $1 million in damages.
He also fired shots at Kareem “Biggs” Burke.
“#jayz and @biggsburke if you wanna settle this holla at me,” he added. “we use to hustle together…court is corny… let’s talk like men for the culture… I dare y’all to respond #doitfortheculture.”
