The Miami State Attorney's Office has announced that they have dropped a battery charge against rapper DaBaby.

According to TMZ, the reason for the decision was because one of the alleged victims would not cooperate with the cops.

That alleged victim is a friend of concert promoter, Kenneth Carey, who alleges that DaBaby assaulted him and robbed him after he did not pay him in full for a Miami concert performance. Carey says that at least four other men pulled his pants down, beat him up and poured apple juice all over him during the incident.

Despite the battery charge being thrown out, the outlet reports that the police are still investigating the alleged robbery of Carey, meaning that DaBaby could yet be charged with a crime.

Carey claims that after the beatdown, DaBaby took his phone, money and credit card. Carey's suing the "Suge" rapper for more than $6 million.
