DaBaby was released from jail Saturday evening after a warrant for his arrest was withdrawn, according to corrections officials.
DaBaby was arrested in connection to a robbery that took place at 12:30 p.m with the alleged victim being a concert promoter. A source told TMZ at the time that promoter met up with DaBaby and his crew to pay for a gig, and the rapper believed the promoter shorted him by several thousand dollars. As one source put it, "Things just went out of control."
The outlet reports that seven police cars pulled up to take the rapper into custody. He was subsequently charged with battery.
After police arrested the rapper in Miami, they found a warrant for his arrest from Texas, also on a battery charge. This was later withdrawn, and the artist was bailed out from jail.
DaBaby is yet to address his Miami arrest with his fans publicly.
