Cypress Hill will be receiving a star on the prestigious 'Hollywood Walk of Fame.'
The group formed by B-Real, DJ Muggs, and Sen Dog and more recent percussionist Eric Bobo will become the becomes the first Latino Hip-Hop group to receive a star.
“We are proud to honor the first Latino American hip-hop recording group,” said Ana Martinez, Producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.” “They have been successful as a group for three decades and we know they will continue their success for many years to come,” added Martinez.
Emcee Rana Ghadban, President & CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, George Lopez and Xhibit will help to unveil the star.
The event takes place on Apr. 18, at 11:30 a.m. PDT. The star, dedicated in the category of Recording, will be placed at 6201 Hollywood Boulevard in front of Green Leaf Restaurant at Eastown. Cypress Hill will be performing the same night at the world-famous club Whiskey a Go Go in Hollywood.
