Comedian Tracy Morgan looked happy yesterday as he soaked up the sun in Brooklyn.
Tracy was easy to spot — since he was sporting a massive gold chain with scorpion pendant. 'The Last O.G.' star recently attended a block party to celebrate some refurbishments and upgrades at nearby Marcy Playground.
“This is for Brooklyn,” Morgan said, in a press release. He recalled playing on the court in his youth: “I actually cut my finger once on a glass bottle here and the blood I spilled on the court was for these kids.”
He pulled up in the middle of the hood, wearing a du rag, a giant chain, and riding in a Rolls Royce. And no he wasn't sipping champagne.
Instead of sipping on champagne he was sipping, Tracy sipped on a GRAPE QUARTER WATER juice.
Borough President Eric Adams said “Brooklyn is proud to welcome back one of its most famous sons, and we’re even prouder that he’s giving back in a real way to the community that raised him.”
Reports state that even though Tracey was looking LAVISH in Brooklyn, he put his money where his mouth was. "The $215,000 park renovation was funded by TBS in conjunction with The Last O.G., in which Morgan’s character returns to the once hardscrabble streets of Brooklyn after 15 years in prison, only to find moms “alkalizing” their tots with seaweed and hipsters expounding on Michelin starred vs. Michelin rated."
This has been a great month for Tracy because last month he also received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Congrats to a real one.
