Comedian Lil Duvall was sued over child support for his pre-teen daughter, MTO News has learned.
The Florida born comedian whose real name is Roland 'Lil Duval' Powell, was dragged into court this week, by his baby mama Tornica Cheney. She filed a child support lawsuit against the jokester, who went mainstream with his 2018 song “Smile (Living My Best Life)” featuring Snoop Dogg.
Tornica is demanding that the court grant her a formal child support order for their 12-year-old daughter. She also claims that she wants to know EXACTLY how much money Lil Duval is making, so that she can get an appropriate cut of his income for their daughter.
To that end, Lil Duval's baby's mama wants an audit of his finances before the amount is determined. She also wants the comedian to provide health insurance for the child and make her the beneficiary of a $1 million life insurance policy on himself.
Duval released his first solo single and music video on April 1, 2014 entitled "Wat Dat Mouf Do?" featuring Trae tha Truth. In 2018, he released "Smile Bitch (Living My Best Life)" featuring Snoop Dogg and Ball Greezy, and the single peaked at number 56 on the Billboard Hot 100.
