A Chicago man was denied bail - he was charged with shooting and killing his pregnant girlfriend and her 16-year-old brother, officials said.
Darryl Benton-Harris, 19, who was listed as homeless, was charged with first-degree murder. The two victims Emoni and Elijah House were killed in what prosecutors say was a heated argument with Darryl. Their 42-year-old mother and a 29-year-old family friend were also seriously wounded in the shooting.
Elijah House, 16, allegedly began arguing with Daryl when he allegedly heard Daryl "order Emoni to abort their child." The two started arguing and a fist-fight ensued, prosecutors said.
That's when Darryl pulled out a gun and started shooting. Elijah and Emoni were hit and killed.
