Spike Lee has recruited 'Black Panther's' Chadwick Boseman in the lead role of his upcoming movie, 'Da 5 Bloods.'

According to Variety, 'Da 5 Bloods' follows Vietnam veterans who return to the jungle to find their lost innocence.

“To quote my brother Jay-Z from Da People’s Republic of Brooklyn ‘On to Da Next One,'” Lee said.

Netflix is reportedly in talks with Lee to distribute the movie.

It has been a great start to the year for Lee, who took home a BAFTA for his movie, BlacKkKlanman.

The film is also nominated for Best Director at this year's Academy Awards. BlacKkKlansman also earned Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score, Best Editing, and Adam Driver as Best Supporting Actor.

Speaking to CNN about whether he thinks he would bring home an Oscar this year, he simply said:

"It's out of my hands, you know? I'm telling people now, win or lose, 'BlacKkKlansman' will be on the right side of history."
