CeeLo faced backlash after he tweeted in support of OutKast rapper's Big Boi performance, seemingly dismissing the protests in support of Colin Kaepernick.
“.@BigBoi yo big we riding wit you fam DO THAT SHIT! F*ck these so called protesters you just got 100m worth of press. I’ll kill for you. #wedf #DFTODEATH.”
But Twitter was not going to let CeeLo ride and check him with the quickness!
Even Women's March co-founder Tamika D. Mallory pulled up to CeeLo's Instagram (where he also shared the message) and took on both CeeLo and TV One at the same time!
CeeLo has since deleted the offensive tweet and responded with an apology, complete with prayer hands:
Was social media too hard on CeeLo, or should he have just remained quiet?
