Cardi B appears to have been threatening suicide yesterday - on social media.
The female rapper has been complaining about her newly complicated life, ever since her career caught fire, a couple of years ago. Cardi has repeatedly told fans that her life is unhappy, even though she's rich and famous.
But yesterday, Cardi took things to another level - by publicly saying that she "wishes she was dead."
Cardi was a social media personality - and two years ago, she became one of the biggest artists in the world. She first burst onto the music scene with her hit song Bodak Yellow.
Then she followed up her first song with a string of hits, and an album that was on the Billboard 100 for nearly a year.
But despite her fame and fortune, she's never seemed completely happy.
Maybe it's because Cardi's personal life has been plagued with drama.
Her husband Offset publicly cheated on her (with another female rapper) while Cardi was pregnant - and the two split. And Cardi was recently charged with 14 charges in New York City, for allegedly ordering a hit on Offset's side piece.
Here's Cardi's tweet:
In the same day Offset posted the following photo on IG:
The “I Like It” rapper, 26, showed off a new tattoo dedicated to the Migos member, 27, on the back of her thigh above the knee. It simply says his stage name (Offset’s real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus) in script.
Cephus certainly seems to love the attention; he posted a photo of Cardi displaying the ink while FaceTiming with him on Instagram. “CANT WAIT TO GET HOME,” he captioned the pic.
Though this is hardly Cardi’s first tattoo — she has a large peacock on the side of her right hip as well as her sister’s name on the inside of her arm, among others — it is her first dedicated to her husband.
