Cardi B's new song 'Please Me' is turning out to be the biggest flop of her career. Some fans are saying that Cardi had a good run, but her 15 minutes of fame may be winding down.

Her latest song 'Please Me' with Bruno Mars is FLOPPING BADLY on radio.

Cardi and Bruno's new song was released two weeks ago, and after some positive momentum in week 1 - it hit a wall in week 2.

The song is dropping radio spins like a rock - making it possibly the biggest flop record so far in 2019.

Cardi B had been the "golden girl", with every song she dropped immediately charting on Billboard.

But many in the industry believe her success was artificial, concocted by her record label Atlanta Records - who was using payola. Payola is when a label pays radio stations and streaming platforms to play music. The practice is illegal.

But there may be another reason for Please Me flopping. There have been reports that Cardi and Bruno used an R Kelly sample for the song. And many fans are refusing to support the song as a result.

Cardi B reactivated her Instagram to announce the collaboration on February 14, having deactivated her profile for several days after receiving negative comments in response to her winning Best Rap Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. Cardi announced she was "coming out of retirement", and both Cardi and Mars shared the cover art on their respective accounts.

"Please Me" was written by Cardi B, Mars, James Fauntleroy, Jonathan Yip, Ray Romulus, Jeremy Reeves, and Ray McCullough II. The production was handled by Mars and the latter four, known as The Stereotypes.
