Cardi B has spoken openly about using ghost writers, for all of her music. Despite that she somehow won 4 ASCAP awards over the summer - for writing.
And some folks on social media are calling out Cardi, claiming that she scammed the awards away from the true writers of her music.

Last year, top NYC DJ Funkmaster Flex exposed Cardi for having a ghost writer. At the time, Cardi never denied having help writing her rhymes. Watch:
Cardi B continues to collect awards, whether earned or unearned.
Among her numerous accolades, Cardi B has won a Grammy Award, seven Billboard Music Awards—the most of any female rapper, nine BET Hip Hop Awards—the most of any female rapper, three American Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, and two Guinness World Records.
Fellow publisher Kobalt Music claimed honors for the first time as independent publisher of the year. The award was in recognition of top songs including Ariana Grande’s “God Is a Woman,” Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin’s “I Like It” and Panic! At the Disco’s “High Hopes.” On hand as hosts throughout the evening were ASCAP’s president/chairman of the board Paul Williams, CEO Elizabeth Matthews and executive vp of membership John Titta.
