Actor Brendan Fraser is seen enjoying a few alcoholic beverages at a beachside bar while on vacation with his family in Barbados. Brendan who's packed on some pounds ordered a few drinks to go as well as he headed back to his family on the beach.
Word is that Hollywood has quit casting the actor as his movies do not make enough money at the box office.
His 1999 movie "Dudley Do Right" had a budget of $70 million and only made $9 million domestically. His 2001, film "Monkeybone" made only $5 million against a $75 million budget. "Looney Tunes: Back In Action" raked in $20 million against an $80 million production budget and the list goes on.
More recently, he shared his #MeToo story, alleging he was sexually assaulted by a former president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association at the Beverly Hills Hotel in 2003.
“His left hand reaches around, grabs my ass cheek, and one of his fingers touches me in the taint. And he starts moving it around. [...] I felt ill. I felt like a little kid. I felt like there was a ball in my throat. I thought I was going to cry.”
This was the first time that he had ever spoken publicly about his ordeal. Maybe the beers are to help him cope with the trauma of the event. And with Hollywood stars, even if they pile on a few pounds, once they get a new role the weight comes off one way or another.
