Bravo posted "aged" pics of the Real Housewives last night, and the network immediately came under fire for what many are calling mysogeny.
For the last week, people have been using the "aged" filter on social media. The filter allows people to "age" themselves using the and people have been having fun with it.
Yesterday one of the interns at Bravo thought it would be cute to "age" the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and post the images on the official Bravo website.
Let's just say that it didn't go well with the housewives. Actually that would be a huge understatement.
Our insider at Bravo explained, "All of the Housewives called up and went crazy. Within a couple of minutes, Bravo was forced to pull down the images."
Bravo eventually apologized to the ladies, for posting the pics.
Luckily bloggers took screenshots of the images, before they were taken down.
Here are the pics that Bravo put on their website:
In other RHOBH news, Kyle Richards, 50, thinks there’s a reason Lisa made it a public announcement beforehand (per the June 4 interview with DailyMailTV). “Well, I think she gave that interview yesterday so that she could say she quit, because she knew if she didn’t show up here today, that you would probably do the same thing that you had to do with Adrienne [Maloof] and fire her,” Kyle told host Andy Cohen during part one of the reunion, which aired on July 16. The reunion was taped on June 5, one day after Lisa’s bombshell confession.
Unlike Lisa, Adrienne didn’t give her fellow “Housewives” a heads-up before ditching the Season 3 reunion in 2013 (however, she has denied multiple reports that she was fired). Still, given the similarities, Kyle speculated that Lisa supposedly wanted to preempt herself from “getting fired,” by “saying that she quit yesterday.”
