Bobby Shmurda's Parole Hearing Pushed Back Until September

Publish date:

Bobby Shmurda fans have been left disappointed as the date for his parole hearing has been delayed until September.

According to Complex, the date has been rescheduled to September 14.

"Ackquille Pollard's Board of Parole interview is currently scheduled for the week of September 14," a Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) spokesperson told the publication.

Shmurda was arrested in 2014 on several charges, including conspiracy to commit murder and weapons and drug charges associated with GS9.

In 2016, Bobby Shmurda plead guilty to murder conspiracy charges and accepted a 7-year plea deal.

"I did it for Rowdy. They offered me five and offered Rowdy 12. They said the only way they'll give him seven is if I took seven too. So, you know, I had to take one for the dawgs."

The rapper has been praised for doing his time and not snitching... unlike another high profile rapper we all know.
