Mark James Stevens, 38, and Jeanette Lauralee Stevens, 38, were charged with murdering Brandon Lamont Fontenette. Both accused and the victim are all from central Texas.

According to arrest warrant affidavit, the couple met Brandon at a bar on July 25. Mark Stevens told investigators that Brandon wanted to have sex with the couple, and that he agreed to let the Brandon watch he and his wife have sex at their home.

Brandon reportedly followed the couple to their home.

Mark claims that as he kissed his wife, Brandon "attempted to force his way between them." Enraged, Mark retrieved an Airsoft BB gun and a knife and started shooting at Brandon, the affidavits say.

Mark then stabbed Brandon in the back, according to the affidavit. The victim "stumbled into the [master] bathroom and collapsed on the floor," according to the affidavit.

Jeanette Stevens told investigators that after the attack, she went to her son's room to sleep. Her son, who was in his upstairs bedroom during the alleged killing, apparently left the house during the fight and went to stay at a neighbors home, authorities said.
