A Black man is believed to have been lynched in the backyard of his home,

Danye Jones was found hanging in the backyard of his home, he was hanging by his neck and his pants were down. In the Jim Crow Era, Black men's pants were pulled down before they were lynched - to shame the victim.

Dante's mom is Melissa Mckinnies, a known Black Lives Matter activist in the community. She found her son hanging in her backyard.

Melissa took to Facebook to claim that her son was murdered. She believes it was a racial lynching.

Here’s the post she made on Facebook.

Melissa says she wants justice, saying police are currently trying to rule it a suicide.

According to Danye's family, he showed no signs of being depressed. And recent Facebook posts, show that he was having some business success with real estate.

No one knows what was going through Dante's mind when he died, but this situation is especially suspicious.

What is suspicious is that so far - there has been almost no news report at all on this subject.

No TV news networks picked it up, and the only Black news site working on the story is Woke America. The investigation was very short, and no one reported on it in the very least.

Jones’ death is reminiscent of the string of Ferguson activist deaths that have occurred since 2014.

DeAndre Joshua was found in his car with two gunshot wounds to the head the night of the Ferguson verdict in 2014.

Two years later, Darren Seals was found dead with two gunshot wounds to the head in his car too. In both instances, the cars were set on fire.

In 2017, Edward Crawford, the activist who became viral from an iconic Ferguson protest picture showing him grabbing an active tear gas canister fired from police and throwing the explosive back at them, was found shot to death in his car too. Police claim Crawford shot himself in the back seat of his car either in an attempted suicide or by accident.

Following Crawford’s death, Missouri state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal claimed that a murderer was targeting activists in Ferguson on Twitter.

Social media is on fire after the death of Danye.
