Blac Chyna is moving to have the assault and battery charges filed by Rob Kardashian dismissed and says she has evidence proving that the alleged 2017 incident did not happen.
In 2017, Rob Kardashian and his sister, Kylie Jenner, filed a lawsuit against Blac Chyna - with Rob alleging assault and battery and Kylie alleging property damage. According to the court documents in the suit, Rob and Chyna had a dispute in their home which was owned by Kylie.
Rob alleged in the lawsuit that during the dispute Chyna attempted to choke him with an iPhone cord causing injuries to his head, face and neck.
His co-petitioner, Kylie alleged that Chyna damaged her home in excess of $100,000. After several months, though, Kylie voluntarily dismissed her claim against Chyna. Now, Chyna's seeks to have Rob's claim against her dismissed and says she has evidence.
"Chyna has filed a motion to dismiss the baseless assault and battery claims filed by her ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian in September 2017," her attorney Lynne Ciani said in a statement to ET online. "Chyna already succeeded in getting Kylie Jenner to drop her bogus lawsuit against Chyna back in March 2018 after Kylie refused to sit for her deposition and refused to answer questions under oath. Now, Chyna has submitted evidence to the Court proving that she never committed assault and battery against Rob and that his case should be thrown out of court."
According to submitted court documents, Chyna says was did not suffer any injuries because he did not seek medical attention, although she did admit during a deposition that she did wrap the cord around his neck.
She also says that Rob withdrew the complaint he made to the police regarding the incident and the two reconciled shortly thereafter. Finally, Chyna says that the only injury Rob suffered that evening was that she left him and the relationship along with their daughter Dream.
Chyna's case against Rob and the Kardashians, though, is still on going:
"Chyna's claim against Rob Kardashian for posting illegal Revenge Porn Photos of her will be tried before a jury on May 26, 2020," the statement continues. "Chyna's claims against Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner for illegally getting Season 2 of her #1 Hit Show on E! cancelled will be tried before a separate jury immediately after the conclusion of the Revenge Porn trial against Rob."
So who's the liar... Chyna or Rob?
