When pictures circulated the internet of Blac Chyna attending the Oscars, many folks appeared to be surprised that she could land an invite, but Chyna says that questioning her invitation was "racist" and that she deserved to be there.

A rep for Chyna called the social media uproar "black lash," slamming the several outlets who posed the question, "Why is SHE there?"

"Whether it be the fact that she is a reality star, a single mother, or the inevitable reminder that she was a former stripper ... it does nothing to change the narrative that just maybe the Oscars indeed are 'so white'" ... Chyna's rep told the news outlet.

The rep added that the controversy "further highlights the fight that many African Americans in the Entertainment Industry face; yes, even during Black History Month."

She reportedly attended the event with a producer, but she had her own invitation.

Is she right? Is she the victim of systematic racism?
