Country legend, Billy Ray Cyrus will be hopping onto Atlanta artist Lil Nas X's hit song, "Old Town Road" which was removed from Billboard's Country Music charts after the track broke into Hot Country Songs chart.

Billboard claimed that the song lacked enough of the elements of country music to qualify for the chart. But Cyrus thinks that Billboard could have called it wrong.

"@lilnasx Been watching everything going on with OTR. When I got thrown off the charts, Waylon Jennings said to me “Take this as a compliment” means you’re doing something great! Only Outlaws are outlawed. Welcome to the club!" Cyrus wrote on Instagram.

"Upon further review, it was determined that “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X does not currently merit inclusion on Billboard‘s country charts. When determining genres, a few factors are examined, but first and foremost is musical composition. While “Old Town Road” incorporates references to country and cowboy imagery, it does not embrace enough elements of today’s country music to chart in its current version," Billboard told Rolling Stone at the time of its removal.

The remix is slated to drop later on today.
