DaBaby has had battery charges against him dismissed.

The rapper was accused of attacking a driver in Las Vegas in November 2020. The driver claimed he picked DaBaby and some friends up in his Mercedes Sprinter van and when they lit up a blunt, he told them not to. The driver then claims that DaBaby and his crew threatened him and when they stopped at the Hard Rock Hotel and were told to pay, DaBaby punched him in the back of the head and said: “You ain’t the boss.”

Some of the crew allegedly stated that if they were in North Carolina, he would have been dead.

The misdemeanor battery charge has now been dismissed with prejudice. The same case cannot be filed against him again.

According to TMZ, the charges were dismissed because DaBaby did everything he was asked of by the prosecutors to resolve the case– even paying the alleged victim $7,500.

His attorney, Drew Findling, had denied the charge on behalf of his client: “A 100% false accusation which suspiciously pops up in February regarding an alleged incident in November. We can smell another attempted money grab.”
