There are going to be some major changes to the new season of Basketball Wives - two of the women - Tami Roman and Jennifer Williams have been fired from the show.
A person close to production told us that the two ladies were fired for different reasons. Jennifer, we're told, was not invited to return this season because of her behavior last season. The insider explained, "Jennifer was a nightmare to work with, so they let her go."
But Tami's firing was more about money. The insider told MTO News, "Tami wanted too much money, so she had to go."
Evelyn Lozada and Basketball Wives founder Shaunie O'Neal will be back next season. Malaysia Pargo, Kristen Scott, Cece Gutierrez and OG Chijindu will all be returning next season also.
There will also be a new face added to the cast. MTO News just confirmed that Vinessa Sacre, the wife of basketball player Robert Sacre, will allegedly make her Basketball Wives debut this year.
Robert is a professional basketball player for the Sun Rockers Shibuya of the Japanese B.League. He used to play for the LA Lakers.
Shaunie O’Neal returned to Twitter earlier this week after a six-month hiatus from the social media site, and it didn’t take long for fans to flood her timeline with questions about “Basketball Wives” and Tami Roman’s status on the show.
The executive producer of the VH1 reality series hopped on the platform March 11 to wish her followers well as they began the new week.
“Happy Monday!!! It’s been a while, but I hope you all are doing very well. Positive Energy to all! -SO” she tweeted.
O’Neal did not reply to any of the questions regarding Roman coming back to the show. But if Roman doesn’t return, it won’t have anything to do with O’Neal. During a Q&A session she held on her Instagram Story in October, Roman responded with a selfie covered in a filter of her wearing sunglasses that read “cool” on each lens.
