Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore just signed on to join the cast of the new Netflix show Family Reunion. The show is a new multi-generational, multi-camera comedy series for Netflix that will also star Tia Mowry (Sister, Sister, Instant Mom) and Loretta Devine (Grey’s Anatomy, The Carmichael Show).

Netflix is producing 20-episode of the show, that's created and executive produced by Meg DeLoatch (Fuller House, Eve) and directed by Eric Dean Seaton (Prince of Peoria, Modern Family).

Kenya made the official announcement on Instagram yesterday. It's not clear whether filming will impact Kenya's rumored return to the Bravo reality series.

We've heard that filming for the new season of RHOA hasn’t started yet, but pick up letters for the cast reportedly are being sent out currently according to sources.

This will be Kenya’s official return to the show after she was reportedly let go following season 10 after ongoing issues with her reportedly refusing to show her then new husband, Marc Daly on camera.

Filming for season 12 will start around May/June, so Kenya getting one already means the cast and next season is surely shaping up to be an interesting one. Bravo has yet to confirm the news, and won’t until the season trailer is released later this year.

Kenya is an actress, model, producer, author, television personality, and entrepreneur. She co-starred in the Bravo series The Real Housewives of Atlanta from 2012 to 2018 and was a member of the cast of The Celebrity Apprentice 7 in 2015.

Moore rose to prominence in 1993 after winning the Miss USA contest which led her to compete in that year's Miss Universe pageant ultimately landing her among the top six, but she did not take home the crown.
