Kandi Burress and husband Todd Tucker are going to be parents again - this time to twin girls. MTO News learned that Todd and Kandi are expected to make the announcement as early as this week.
Kandi has been holding back her surrogate announcement, so that she doesn't overshadow fellow Housewife Porsha's pregnancy. But now that Porsha's given birth, we expect Kandi's announcement to be made imminently.
Kandi announced back in November that she and Todd were working with a surrogate to get pregnant. Here's what Us Magazine reported at the time:
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star stopped by Us Weekly on Monday, November 5, and dished on her plans for surrogacy.“
Yeah, yeah, we’re moving forward,” the 42-year-old reality star gushed when asked if she and husband Todd Tucker are planning on expanding their family. “We’ve decided we wanted to … get a surrogate.”
Burruss dished: “We did find someone, and right now we are in the process — you know it hasn’t been done — but we’re in the process.”
According to MTO News' insider, Kandi and Todd implanted two embryo's into the surrogate - hoping that at least one would take. And both embryo's ended up implanting. So it looks like Todd and Kandi will be having twins.
The insider told MTO News, "Kandi is definitely over the moon about the babies. Todd is a little shellshocked. I'm sure eventually he'll be as happy as Kandi."
Yeah, we hope so too . .
