Arrest Warrant Issued For DeMarcus Cousins After He Allegedly Threatened To SHOOT Baby Mama
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of NBA baller DeMarcus Cousins after he allegedly threatened to shoot his baby mama.
Cousins' ex-girlfriend, Christy West, and the mother of his 7-year-old son filed a police report against him on Friday for threatening her life.
She also provided police with a recording of a phone conversation where a voice, which sounds like Cousins, told her that he would "put a bullet in your f*cking head."
"I'm gonna ask you this one more time before I take it to another level. Can I have my son here, please?" he said in the audio obtained by TMZ.
West then tells him "No."
"I'm gonna make sure I put a bullet in your f**king head," he said.
Mobile police spokesperson Charlette M. Solis confirmed to SA Today that "an arrest warrant has been issued." According to the outlet, the third-degree harassing communications charge was listed on the Mobile municipal court website, although no other information was provided.
"Yes, a warrant has been signed," ex-girlfriend, West, told USA TODAY Sports via text message.
