Apollo Released From Prison In Fall - Joining Atlanta Housewives!!

Apollo Nida will be getting released from prison this fall, and will be joining the cast of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, MTO News has confirmed.

Apollo's prison release date was supposed to be in 2020 - but that got pushed up a year thanks to Apollo's acceptance into a program for non-violent offenders. Apollo, who is the ex-husband of The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks, was originally sentenced to eight years in prison for fraud and identity theft in 2014. With this order, a full year has been taken off of Apollo's sentence.

Two months ago, MTO News reported that Apollo's date was going to be pushed up - well now it's official.

Apollo is currently incarcerated at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, the same federal correctional institution where Teresa Giudice's husband, Joe Giudice, began his 41-month prison sentence in March 2016. Joe was later transferred to FCI Allenwood Low in 2017, and he was released earlier this month. And yes, Apollo and Joe did meet and got along really well while they were in the same facility, according to Teresa.

Here's what the bureau of prisons website lists Apollo's release date as:

Register Number: 65725-019

Age: 40

Race: Black

Sex: Male

Located at: Fort Dix FCI

Release Date: 10/15/2019

And here's what Apollo looks like now:

MTO News spoke with a Bravo executive who confirm that Apollo and his fiancé Sherien have signed on to participate in next year's Atlanta Housewives season.

Sherien hinted to signing the deal with Bravo on her Instagram:

So far it's not clear yet whether Apollo's ex-wife Phaedra Parks will be returning to the Bravo show with him. Bravo has been negotiating to bring Phaedra back now for months.
