Apollo Nida from the Real Housewives of Atlanta was released from Federal prison this morning, MTO News has confirmed. He is now being housed at a half-way house in Philadelphia.
Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband, Apollo Nida, was released from prison last month - after serving more than 5 years in federal prison for fraud. But he was re-arrested just 9 days later for allegedly violating his parole.
“He was taken back into custody. I wouldn’t say it was an arrest because it’s not a new charge. It was an order of the court to bring him into custody,” the representative told Page Six. “We took him to Federal Bureau of Prisons and they will deal with it since he was in their custody."
The representative explained that Apollo had allegedly broken a technical condition of his release. It is unclear what terms of Apollo's release were said to have been violated.
Apollo was released from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey earlier this month and moved into a halfway house in Philadelphia, where he was expected to stay until the middle of October.
Here is a screenshot from the Bureau of Prison's website, which shows Apollo has been moved to a halfway house (Philadelphia RRM).
His new "official" release date - when he can leave the half-way house - is November 26th. His initial release date (before he blew his parole) was October 15th. So he was given another month and a half of time for the violation.
And we have GREAT news. We're told that the Bravo cameras will be filming in Philadelphia THIS WEEK. Apollo's release from prison will be a featured storyline for the upcoming season of the Atlanta Housewives.
