New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown has reportedly lost a lucrative deal with sports brand, Nike, as the fallout from the sexual misconduct claims continue.

"Antonio Brown is not a Nike athlete," a company spokesperson told The Boston Globe. They did not confirm whether the allegations were the reasons for dropping the NFL player.

On Sept. 10, Britney Taylor, Brown's former trainer, filed a civil suit in U.S. District Court in Miami, accusing Brown of two incidents of sexual assault in 2017 and then forcibly raping her in 2018. Her claims came just days after Brown joined the Patriots after being released by the Oakland Raiders.

On Thursday, Brown was also accused of sending threatening messages to one of the women who stepped forward to accuse him of sexual harassment.

"Really sad you would make up bull s—t story to the world thought u had more integrity n respect for yourself must be really hard times for to make up some stuff for money super sad," one of the texts reads, according to the Sports Illustrated report.
