On Thursday morning, a dead body was found floating in the waters of the Brooklyn, police confirmed. And the body was of a female of apparent Middle Eastern descent.

Police responded to the 911 call around 8:45 am with NYPD Harbor Units at the scene. The body of an unconscious and unresponsive woman was brought to Pier 4, at 58th Street, police said.

EMS pronounced the woman deceased at the scene. The medical examiner was unable to determine the cause of death yet.

But this is the third body of a Middle Eastern girl, that was found dead in the rivers off New York City.


This appears to be the third Middle Eastern girl that washed up on the shores of New York City in the last two weeks.

Last week, two sisters from Saudi Arabia - washed up on NYC shores with their hands and feet duct taped.

Rotana Farea, 23, and Tala Farea, 16, were Saudi Arabian citizens who had been living in the United States for two to three years.
