Sutton Tennyson, Angela Simmons' babys father, was found shot to death in the garage of his home in southwest Atlanta yesterday at around 4:30 p.m.

Police claim that Sutton appears to have been shot after a dispute between three people. Everyone has been identified and there are no suspects at large.

Police have not yet arrested anyone, and are exploring the possibility that the shooter was justified in killing Angela's babys father.

Major Michael O’Connor with Atlanta Police said that the house was under renovation and it is unclear if the victim lived at the home or might have been working there.

Medics who arrived at the scene tried to revive the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Angela and Sutton began dating in late 2015 and welcomed their baby, Sutton Jr., in September 2016. In late 2017, Simmons announced in an Instagram post that she and her son’s father had called off their engagement.

“I just got to a place where I felt like I wasn’t happy, and I tried, and I tried, and I tried and I wanted it to work because the last thing I wanted to do was not be together with the person I had my child with,” she said in a confessional for the season 4 premiere of WEtv’s Growing Up Hip-Hop. “God had another plan for me.”

Our condolences go out to the Tennyson as well as the Simmons family.
