Rowdy Rebel says he won’t be dropping any more music until Epic Records pays him his coins.
“I’m not dropping no more music until @epicrecords pay me,” he wrote. “I haven’t received one check for all the music I put out since 2014. I been patient but enough is enough.”
In 2014, Rowdy was arrested for conspiracy, attempted murder, attempted assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a weapon. He initially pleaded not guilty to all of the charges but later flipped his plea in exchange for a 6 to 7-year prison sentence. His sentence began in 2016 but he was released from prison last year.

“The feeling I felt, it was overwhelming,” he said of his release in an interview last December. “It’s hard to explain, still. There’s still people I haven’t seen in so long… It feels so good to be home with all my peers and my family, for real.”
