Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. has pleaded guilty to one count of forcibly touching a woman at a New York City rooftop bar back in 2018.
The guilty plea is three years after he was arrested and accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct.
In exchange for his guilty plea he will receive no jail time and must also attend counseling for six months.
“I apologize for ever making anybody feel inappropriately touched,” Gooding told the courtroom, per the Times.
The actor was charged in Manhattan court for alleged groping incidents involving three women. One woman alleges that he grabbed her breast at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge in June. Another woman, a waitress, claimed that he kissed her without consent at LAVO in September 2018 and “pinched the buttocks of a woman without her consent” at Tao nightclub in October 2018.
In October, Manhattan prosecutors revealed that as many as 12 more women had come to them with allegations against Gooding ranging from unwanted licking, kissing, and biting dating back to 2001.
