Pastor Mike Todd has apologized for a sermon where he spat into his hand and rubbed it over a man’s face in church.
“We wanna help people,” Todd said. “We want people to see Jesus. We want people to feel loved. We want people who are desperate to be able to find hope and I am passionate — so much so that I try to do extreme things to help people get it. And yesterday it crossed the line.”
It’s never my intention to distract others from God’s Word and the message of Jesus… even with illustrations!
I apologize for my example being too extreme and disgusting!

Todd called the video a “distraction” from the message. He also called it “disgusting.” Todd said he had a “vision” from God that he might need to get “nasty.”
PASTOR MIKE TODD’S DEMONSTRATION
