Alleged Nine Trey Blood "godfather" Jamel "Mel Murda," Jones has begged a judge for a lenient sentence.

In court documents obtained by Complex, Mel Murda, and his lawyer Scott Leemon requested that Judge Paul Engelmayer consider handing down a 78-month sentence so that he can take care of his children.

Jones pleaded guilty to one count of racketeering conspiracy and one count of participating in a narcotics distribution conspiracy and could be sentenced to as much as 20 years behind bars.

"To me, right now, the most important company to keep is that of my family and my children," he writes in the docs.

"Please allow me to return to them as soon as possible," he continues. "I don't need a whole lot of time to fix myself. I need counseling and for you to believe in me, and see that I'm not the monster they paint me to be."

His sentencing is slated for Oct. 17.
