Police are still searching for an adorable Alabama girl named Kamille "Cupcake" McKinney - who was kidnapped in Birmingham on Saturday.

According to law enforcement, a white woman and a black man are suspected of snatching Kamille. Police say that the couple used candy to entice her, and then allegedly snatched the baby.

Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney vanished about 8:30 p.m. Saturday from Tom Brown Village public housing community in Avondale. She was outside with friends when she disappeared. Kamille’s family members flocked to the Center Point scene Sunday night.

Now police may be one step closer to finding her. The Birmingham police say that they have a suspect in custody.

Police used surveillance footage to capture a man who they are calling a "suspect" in the kidnapping. It's not clear what part he played in the suspected kidnapping of Cupcake.

“I feel a little better that they got him but the search goes on because Cupcake still isn’t home,'' said her father, 27-year-old Dominic McKinney. “We’re still not stopping. I feel better that they caught him, I do, but until I see that baby, they can catch him all day. We will find her tonight.”

The toddler's father is specking out about the kidnapping too. Dominic McKinney made a desperate plea for his daughter's return.

And now that police have a suspect, he's speaking out again. The anxious dad told Al.com, "I feel a little better that they got him but the search goes on because Cupcake still isn't home."

He continued, "We're still not stopping. I feel better that they caught him, I do, but until I see that baby, they can catch him all day. We will find her.'"
