Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph hosted a Christmas party with her husband Senator Vincent Hughes yesterday in Philadelphia - and she looked amazing.
Sheryl hosted the event along with her husband, who serves on the Pennsylvania State Senate. He represents the city of Philadelphia in the state legislative body.
Sheryl made her screen debut in the 1977 comedy film A Piece of the Action, before landing her breakthrough role as Deena Jones in the Broadway musical Dreamgirls, for which she received Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical.
The classically trained actress transitioned over to TV and movies and had a ton of success. She starred in The Mighty Quinn (1989), The Distinguished Gentleman (1992), Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993), and Deterrence (1999).
On television, Ralph starred from 1986 to 2001, Sheryl starred in more than a dozen TV shows, the most popular of which was Moesha, there she played Brandy's mom Dee Mitchell.
