The Good Place star Jameela Jamil came for Cardi B on Twitter, blasting her for promoting a detox tea -and Cardi did not appreciate it one bit!
Cardi has been promoting the tea since the birth of her daughter Kulture, even complaining about losing too much weight.
Jameela hopped onto her social media page for a lengthy rant:
"They got Cardi B on the laxative nonsense “detox” tea. GOD I hope all these celebrities all shit their pants in public, the way the poor women who buy this nonsense upon their recommendation do. Not that they actually take this shit. They just flog it because they need MORE MONEY
If you want to “curb your appetite” eat some damn green vegetables or have some nutritious natural vegetable soup. Don’t drink these “detox” teas. You need fiber! Not something that honestly just makes you have diarrhea the day you take it and constipates you in the long run...
Generally just don’t ever take diet advice from women who know nothing about nutrition/basic advertising ethics. IF you want to get healthier, talk to a trainer/doctor. 🙏🏽"
Cardi B then responded, saying:
"I willnever sh*t my pants cause there's public bathrooms everywhere... oooo and bushes 😂😂😂"
But Jameela was not impressed by the "Money" rapper's response and added to her social media critique.
"Regarding her response: she will never shit her pants, not because of bushes, but because she probably doesn’t ever take the products she promotes... during her promotional video she keeps looking at the name of the product on the cup... almost as if she’s never seen it... 👀
If you tell your fans to be thinner, you don’t love your fans. You don’t give a shit about them or their mental health or self worth.
I was the teenager who starved herself for years, who spent all her money on these miracle cures and laxatives and tips from celebrities on how to maintain a weight that was lower than what my body wanted it to be. I was sick, I have had digestion and metabolism problems for life
I am not going to stop coming after all the people, men and women, who perpetuate this gross culture of forcing women to remain small and doll-like in order to be accepted by society. Fucking TRY ME. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄"
Does Jameela have a point or is she reaching? Let us know!
